Interhouse Sports
Your sports day, scored live for everyone watching
Set up the meet, enter each result as the race finishes, and the house standings update on every screen at once: the projector at the field, the apps in parents' hands, and your school's website.
Included on the Starter plan and above. Run from Admin Desktop by the admin and the staff you choose as officials; watched in the Student, Parent and Staff apps and on your school website.
What's included
- Your school's own houses and real student records: pick athletes by name, and their house comes with them
- Events for track, field, novelty and indoor contests, for boys, girls or mixed, with a limit on athletes per house
- Heats and lanes: split a big event into heats, give each athlete a lane, and each heat's start list builds itself in lane order
- Enter a whole event's results in one go, with times or distances, and ties when two athletes can't be separated
- House standings and a medal table that update the moment results are saved
- Your own points for each finishing place, and results rescore if you change them
- Guests from invited schools can compete and win medals without affecting your house standings
- A big-screen scoreboard for a projector or TV that cycles through standings, medals and the latest results
- House awards decided by vote, such as Best Marching House, with a live tally
- A programme page for the order of events, welcome address and officials
- Points from the meet count toward the term's House Cup, if you want them to
- Keep a meet for your school only, or open it to other schools and the public
Who sees what
One meet, every screen
- Officials on Admin Desktop: the admin sets up the meet, and the teachers and staff you choose add athletes and enter results
- Students, parents and staff: the meet appears in the Explore tab of their app, with the live scoreboard and award voting inside
- Other schools on SchoolItPropa: a public meet shows in their Explore feed too
- Anyone, with no account: a live page on your school website, plus a full-screen scoreboard they can open on any device
- Nobody, until you publish: a meet is a draft that only your staff can see while you set it up
On the day
From first race to final standings
- 1. Before the day: create the meet, choose the houses, add events and athletes, and set heats and lanes
- 2. Publish it, and tick Public if grandparents and old students should be able to follow along
- 3. Make your scorers officials, for good or just for the day through a duty
- 4. As each event finishes, an official picks it, enters the placings and saves
- 5. Standings, medals and the big screen update by themselves; open award voting when you're ready
